Aims and Scope

The rapid evolution of the Bio-Systems Technology in Sri Lanka has created an arena for multidisciplinary studies that integrate engineering science and technology with agricultural, applied biological, environmental and social sciences. Therefore, the Department of Biosystems Engineering of the Faculty of Agriculture & Plantation Management has launched the “Applied Biosystems Technology” journal that aims provide a platform for both national and international researchers to disseminate the key findings of their research in Bio-Systems Technology and associated disciplines.

Applied Biosystems Technology is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and research notes, twice a year. The major disciplines covered by Applied Biosystems Technology includes (but not limited to), agricultural technology, applied biology, biotechnology, engineering technology, environmental technology, food technology and sustainability.
